I have been exploring the beautiful state of Wyoming with my father and brother for as long as I can remember. Throughout my four decades of hunting sage grouse, I have developed a deep understanding of their habitats and the best locations to find them in high numbers. Sage grouse are a bucket list bird for many Upland hunters, and I have developed my skills to help others successfully harvest one. Wyoming is not only abundant with sage grouse, but it also offers an exciting and challenging hunting experience. With the highest sage grouse populations in the United States, my hunting grounds in Wyoming provide ample opportunities for an exhilarating and rewarding bird hunting adventure.
What to bring
- Cold and hot weather attire
- High-quality hiking boots
- A shotgun(the one you shoot the best is more important than the gauge)
- Shotgun shells (7 1/2 or 6)
- A valid Wyoming bird license and conservation stamp
